40-Day Burlap Fast, Day 9 Devotional

I’ve been bad about thinking how an idea “could” fail and I “could” be publicly embarrassed. It took God’s wisdom and teachings to help me to learn that “failure is related to success.” There are no wasted failures in the kingdom of God! Every trial has its teachable moments just like every success does. Yes, feelings get hurt, employment decreases, kids act like you have not taught them anything, and the spouse, from your perspective, sometimes “just does not understand.” Whew! I’m glad to testify, that God has never lost a battle AND he never will! Choosing to live for Him automatically guarantees WINS for you and those connected to you. Get up, get moving with the word of God leading the way (remember God must go first).

We’re cheering for you! “Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.” (Hebrews 12:2 KJV)

If you are looking to attend college, plan to do the work and attend class.

If you are looking forward to marrying, plan to pray for your marriage and spouse like you pray for yourself.

If you plan to start a business, plan to set boundaries and create a plan for day-to-day business operations, team development, funding, policies, and so much more.

With whatever goal you set, plan to show up and be present by actively working on your vision.

You got this! And God has you!
